Socialized Medicine

Update: It is obvious that this government is going to jam their so called health care agenda down our throats even though the majority of Americans are very much against it.

I feel betrayed by our congressmen in the passage of the house version of Obama health care. And now, the Senate is going down the primrose path to the same nonsence. They did it on the weekend, just like the House and pushed it through without the consent of most Americans.

Socialized (government controlled) medicine will be the biggest boondoggle we have ever gotten into, and about impossible to back out of. What are these people thinking? Or are they thinking at all?

I am appalled at all the other stuff that is included in that bill. The so-called "public option" which gives the government far too much control. Robbing the Social Security revenue to achieve their selfish ends. The misappropriation of funds should land them all in jail. And it just goes on and on.
The whole health system in this country isn't broke, so why are they trying to scrap it for a system that they know (from the experiences of other nations) won't work.
In my opinion, they're acting like fools.

All they want is to keep their positions in congress, yet this will hopefully be their down-fall. I always think that we will vote them out of office the next time they are up for re-election, but often times, I am wrong. I wish we could just totally clean house (no pun intended) and start over with a new bunch. We might have some chance for improvement if that did occur.

If you have a voice, try to persuade your Senators to not follow the socialist path of the congress. We will be very sorry if socialized medicine becomes a reality in this country.
