I am appalled by what I am seeing from the left-wing leaders in Washington. President Obama goes on TV and says that the majority of the public is in favor of a tax hike to help keep the government afloat. Other polls indicate very much the opposite. The reason for this is that when you do a poll, you should ask questions in a factual way that doesn't sway the person who is being poll in any direction. It should always be objective and honest. The way pollsters get the results they want is to load the questions; to state them in such a way that they get the "right" answers. This is not objective polling.
The Network News departments are so loaded with liberals that every story must have a purpose that fits their agenda, and that agenda is to keep the democrats in power forever. You can see the bias and hear it in their voices. When they speak of right-wing politicians, there is a tone of sarcasm in their speech. When they talk about liberals and especially Obama, honey drips from their lips.
I had been watching ABC news every evening and got tired of it, so I switched to CBS. I like Scott Pelley, but he has to read whatever the news writers set before him, so there is the extreme liberal slant again. I'm tired of all of it now and prefer to have silence in my home during new time.
What do these people think we the American public are, a bunch of lamebrains? Well they will have another stark awaking at election time when we dump most of the liberals that are running and replace them with conservatives.
I do not consider myself a republican, rather a conservative. I am tired of big government taking away a large part of our hard earned income and giving it away to organizations that don't need it, or waste it, or worse yet, use it to abort unborn babies.
We really need a big change in Washington and in our local governments, back to the Christian principles that our founding fathers held to.
If we keep this president, we will have to have intervention from God to remain a sovereign nation. If we want more unemployment, increased taxation, socialized medical care, and all sorts of promises that are never fulfilled, then we will have to take the consequences that go with it.
Obama promised change and he is trying to change the United States into a third-world country.
He has used all sorts of scare tactics to try to get his way, such as threatening seniors and the military, that if the congress doesn't give in to increasing the debt limit, he will withhold their checks. How low! It sounds like children saying if you want play what I want to, I'll just go home.
Our country can be fixed if we stick with the conservatives and all work together to get things back under the control of people who want the best for America.
