It seems nothing ever changes on the Obama agenda, even during an election campaign. Our government is trying to shed all the provisions of our Constitution that pertain to "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." Are we so blind that we just let them lead us down the path to ruin?
In the United States Constitution, our founding fathers gave us guarantees of those three things and there is an attack upon all three. To this regime, life is no longer sacred; Liberty is becoming allusive and the pursuit of happiness is being impeded on all sides by rules, regulations and restraints.
Our present government is a job destroyer, a proactive killer of the unborn, and a usurper of our freedoms. Why would anyone want to keep such an oppressive group of people like this in office? If you think a second term will change things, or that Obama has changed, think again. He is acting more conservative until the election. If he gets re-elected, he will immediately go back to his socialist agenda and the last four years will be worse than the first four.
Do you want people murdered before they are able to defend themselves? To take another person's life for your own convenience is the height of selfishness. It is an attitude of a deranged mind.
This country is asleep. We will one day get a stark awakening (let's hope it's not too late to recover). It's a lot easier to hold on to the freedoms we have than to let them be taken away and have to fight a war to get them back. Voting is not a hard thing to do. Planning to vote takes a little preparation; finding out for whom or what you will cast your vote.
I have long said that the litmus test for a genuine Christian is if he or she votes for a candidate who is in favor of abortion. This tells the whole story. If life is not precious to you, you don't know the risen Savior.
The Christians of this country should decide the upcoming election. If we don't vote our conscience then we DESERVE whatever comes to us. If we don't vote at all, we still deserve what we get.
Prayer is also of utmost importance. God puts them in and God takes them out, so pray for righteousness in our government and watch Him work. Pray that anyone who tries to cheat in the election process will be found out and dealt with. This includes both sides.
I am praying for Godly change, back to the founding principles of this best of all countries.
