by President Obama and today's August jobs report, please consider the
following statement from Congresswoman Renee Ellmers (NC-2):
"Given last night’s speech and today’s jobs report, it is clear that President Obama is out of new ideas and his policies are just not working. 43 consecutive months of unemployment over 8% is completely unacceptable and more than 360,000 Americans dropping out of the work force is unforgivable."Since Republicans took control of the House in 2010, we have passed over 30 jobs bills, many of which are stuck in the Senate. These bills are real, viable solutions to get our country back on track, but Democrats in Washington refuse to take action. It is time for new leadership in Washington. President Obama’s tax-and-spend policies are not working, but Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan’s plan for a stronger middle class will. We can right this ship, but not with President Obama at the helm.'"
